My two trick weapons!
In the alternating marvel makeup comic book world (because this completely exists), my superhero power is the capability to apply perfect eye liner while I’m walking backwards, hanging upside down or jumping up as well as down on a trampoline.

(Can you imagine?! I’d be completely doing some weird-@ss YouTube makeup videos, haha!)

But in this world here, my superhero power is on the opposite end of the eyeliner spectrum. right here I have the capability to ruin my liner practically EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Seriously, why does the liner on my left eye always end up thicker than my right? as well as exactly how do I handle to totally ruin completely good liner at the last second? It’s an uncanny gift.

Because imperfectly performed eyeliner is something I experience commonly — like every day! — I’ve come to depend on a workaround when one line ends up thicker than the other. First, I dampen a thin directed eyeliner clean with eye makeup remover. then I run it along the edge of the liner to erase any type of errant bits, as well as if the errant liner still won’t lift off, I carefully rub a cotton bud along the edge to eliminate whatever else needs to go.

This works for pencil, liquid as well as gel liner.

My preferred correcting clean is the one I’m holding here, Laura Mercier’s angled Eye liner clean ($20), since it’s small, rigid as well as extremely precise. as for a great makeup remover, Bioderma Sensibio H2O ($12.95) is my present go-to. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes as well as easily removes all type of liner, even long wearing.

And yes, in some cases I utilize this technique on lids that are already using eyeshadow. (Note: I truly wished to write, “I utilize this technique on lids that have already been eyeshadowed.” LOL! Eyeshadow as a verb… OK, never mind.)

After thinning out the line, I just go back in as well as touch up any type of areas of eyeshadow that requirement it. many of the time I don’t believe the truth that I’ve cleaned up a error is as well noticeable.

Give it a try! Your liner will look even much more purr-fect than your cat’s.

He woke up like dis!
